Welcome to the Desert Edge High School Guidance Department website!

We want you to take the time to look around, get to know us, and take the opportunity to find out about how the Guidance Department can help parents and students understand and use the many services that are offered by the Agua Fria Union High School District. We are proud to say that, along with our great teaching staff, the counselors at Desert Edge High School are helping to usher in the twenty-first century with a sense of excitement and anticipation. It is exciting to try to picture the many possibilities and opportunities that a new century will offer our students. We know that many of our graduates will have jobs that aren’t even in existence yet. We anticipate that our graduates will be able to participate actively in their communities, as well-educated and well-informed citizens and will successfully meet the challenges of keeping America safe from those who would destroy it or challenge our traditions of equality, democracy and freedom for all.

The purposes of this website are to :

·Provide timely, usable information to high school students, their parents, and teachers about topics related to academic resources;

·Link students and parents to sites that provide homework assistance and study skills;

·Assist students and parents find financial aid and scholarship information

 ·Guide students toward making good personal and career choices and developing positive communication skills. Above all we adhere to the guiding principle that:
