Open Gym June 3rd - 27th, Mondays through Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. July 1st - 25th, Mondays through Thursdays, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Jr High Days $3 each day; every Wednesday during Open Gym Waiver must be signed to participate (can be picked up and filled out on your first day)
Tryouts August 6th - 9th, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Athletic Packet must be completed and turned into athletic office to participate. T-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes required (no tanks/cutoffs)

Ages: 7-12 years old Time: 5:30pm - 8:30pm Dates: June 24th through June 27th
Participants will be coached by current Desert Edge baseball players.
Cost of Camp: $115 per player, which includes a Desert Edge baseball cap. Maximum of 36 participants.

Located near the Estrella Mountains, Desert Edge High School is the Agua Fria Union High School District's third high school, opening in the fall of 2002. Desert Edge High was the first "Green" Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certified high school in Arizona, and the fourth in the nation. Desert Edge is located on Estrella Parkway and Yuma Road across from the new Goodyear Ballpark, Spring training home of the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians. In the fall of 2011, Desert Edge began its Academy of Sports Medicine, Entertainment and Green Technologies.

At the time of registration: * A current immunization record is required. * The student's birth certificate is required. * Two utility bills for proof of residence are required. * Athletic and class participation fees need to be paid. * If a returning student, past fees will be collected, as well as any overdue textbooks and library books.

You can support Desert Edge's programs and students by completing the Arizona Tax Credit form. These funds make a wide variety of learning opportunities and extra-curricular activities possible. Your tax credit can be used to pay for participation fees.

All students participating in athletics must complete the Athletic packet. When returning the completed Athletic packet, the following items must also be turned in:

proof of insurance or purchase of school insurance

athletic participation fee
-
physical exam form (please use the AIA physical form included in Athletic packet)

Concussion Awareness Training confirmation certificate
-
copy of birth certificate or equivalent proof of birth date and place of birth
Students will be unable to participate in tryouts, practices, or games until cleared by the Athletic office.

Grade Reports and ParentVUE |
First semester grading periods end on the following dates:
- 1st Quarter Progress Report on September 4, 2013
- 1st Quarter Report Card on October 4, 2013
- 2nd Quarter Progress Report on November 13, 2013
- 1st Semester Report Card on December 20, 2013
All grade reports will be distributed to students during Advisory class the Tuesday after the grading period ends except for the semester report card, which will be mailed home.
