About the Coaches My name is Heather Craft and I am excited to begin a new season as varsity coach for Desert Edge Volleyball! I am just one of 3 new coaches to the program, Coach Zumbro will be coaching JV, and Coach Bateman will be coaching the Freshman level. I have spent the summer working with some of the girls and look forward to the upcoming season! Vision My vision for the Desert Edge Volleyball program is ultimately to be the proud coach of a winning program! I believe that can only be accomplished with coaches and players who have a passion for the game of volleyball. It is important to me that every person involved in my program exhibits this passion! In addition, I believe that my program will only be a winning one with unity. Therefore, I strive to create this unity with many program-wide activities both in and out of practice/games. Important Dates August 27th - T-Shirt money due; Mandatory Varsity Football game vs. Agua Fria August 31st - First game @ Moon Valley! (Participation fee due) September 8th - Program Game vs. Kellis (All levels must stay to support their teammates) October 5th - Program Game vs. Buckeye October 16th - Community Tournament Fundraiser October 26th - Program Game vs. Liberty *Grade checks due every Friday*
