Chief's Bio

Chief Siau was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC. She attended Reid Ross High School where she excelled in sports: tennis, basketball, softball, and track. She graduated in 1976 and in March 1979, she enlisted in the United States Air Force (USAF). She started her career as a Power Production Specialist and was also active in sports, excelling in basketball and softball. In 1983, she was selected to the all SAC Softball team, which won the USAF Softball Championships. She received an honorable discharge in Sep 1983 and returned to active duty in Sep 1991.  In 1991, she transferred to the Intelligence career field and spent a lot of time attending civilian and military training courses. Due to her expertise, she was selected to travel to DC to aid federal agencies with Intelligence Curriculum for both the civilian and military intelligence fields. She PCS'd to Washington, DC in 1996 and spearheaded the NGB Intelligence Training Section. In 1998, she was selected to serve on the Strategic Initiatives Group for Maj Gen Weaver and Lt Gen James' respectively working as the Resource Advisor. In 2004, she deployed to the UAE spending her time between the USAF base and the US Embassy. Upon her return to DC she moved to HQ Ops. In 2005 she was promoted to CMSgt, and spent her final years as the Contignecy Repsonse Group (CRG) Functional Manager. She was heavily involved in the NGB Battlestaff during Hurricane Katrina and 9-11.  Chief Siau is married with no children. She and her husband have a dog Auggie and several turtles and tortoies.
