Online Credit Recovery - Summer '26

Program Overview

Students recovering credits online during summer school who finish their course with a passing grade before noon (AZ time) on June 24, 2026, may opt out of taking the final exam for the course.  Taking notes is recommended for all online courses. Students who do not finish the course prior to noon on June 25, 2026, will be able to continue the course when they return to school in the fall and take the final exam once they've completed the course.  Students will also have access to work on their course after summer school ends, but there will be no teacher support until school starts again in the fall. 

Use a student account to enroll in credit recovery. 

Courses Offered:

  • English I - IV
  • Math: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Financial Math
  • Social Studies: World History, AM/AZ History, Government, and Economics.
  • Science: Biology, Earth & Space Science, Environmental Science, Chemistry.
  • Foreign Language: Spanish I, French I
  • Health

Students may recover credits by semester (each semester is 0.5 credits). 

Cost: $50 per 0.5 credit

Online Orientation

Orientation will be emailed to students and parents upon enrollment.

Tutoring: By appointment, Tuesday-Thursday, 8 am-11 am, online.

How to Enroll

 

CREDIT RECOVERY APPLICATION - only accessible by @aguafria.org email addresses.  

Online Credit Recovery starts on May 26th, 2026, and ends at noon on June 24th, 2026.

Application opens on March 16, 2026.

Credit Recovery Application Dates (For students who have failed a course)

March 16 - Seniors and Juniors will have access to the application.

March 23 - Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores will have access to the application.

March 30 - All students will have access to the application.

Original Credit applications all open on March 16, 2026.

Each 1/2 credit is $50.00. 

Program Details

Credit Recovery enrollments must be done from an @aguafria.org account.  Using a school-issued Chromebook is easiest, or be sure your browser is logged into the student's @aguafria.org account. 

Students can also recover up to 1 credit via the Edgenuity online learning program.

Credit Recovery is not grade replacement.  If you are looking for a grade replacement, talk with your counselor for other options.
