Hello, My name is Mr. Fornay and I am an Exceptional Student Services teacher and case manager. I have been teaching at Desert Edge HS since 2006. During the 2020-2021 school year, I will be team-teaching with Mrs. Waterman Algebra II.
I grew up in Chicago and earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 1997 I moved to Arizona and later earned a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Phoenix.
My teaching philosophy: "All students can learn"
- My goal is to educate students on math mastery, problem-solving, logic, and real-life applications, to promote an understanding of math and how it relates to everyday situations ( budgets, shopping, owning a business, construction, taxes, etc)
