Family, Career and Community Leaders of America FCCLA

  • Family Career and Community Leaders of America is a national nonprofit CTE organization in Family and Consumer Science education, the only one with family as it's central focus. Since 1945 FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers and communities by adressing inportant personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Science education. Chapter projects focus on a variety of youth issues that include career exploration, teen violence, peer pressure, substance abuse, teen preganacy, family relationships, and nutrition and fitness.FCCLA offers opportunities for teens to expand their leadership potential, and develop skills for life- planning, goal setting, problem solviing, decision making, and interpersonal communication- that are necessary in the home and workplace.
