    Description

    The Canyon View High School Black Student Union (BSU) is a student organization focused on building positive intellectual, social and cultural relationships on campus. The BSU encourages Canyon View students to strive for the promotion of mutual respect for all cultures. The BSU also serves to support the school and district’s mission preparing all students for college and career readiness.

     

    Mission

    The Black Student Union of Canyon View High School is committed to create an inclusive, positive school environment through the promotion of social, cultural and ethnic diversity.

     

    Goals

    Build awareness, education and consciousness about being an African-American in today’s society. To teach others about diversity and provide opportunities for acceptance and tolerance through engaging discussions and activities.

     

    Membership

    Membership is open to all students of Canyon View High School.
