Ashley Bezio, Mathematics

  • Welcome Desert Edge Students and Parents!

It is that time again where summer break has settled down and school is kicking into full gear as students are transitioning into another year of high school filled with high expectations, a rigorous workload, and a caring environment! This will be another year focused on every student’s achievement of college and career readiness.
I would like to take this opportunity to share my excitement and to introduce myself. I am currently embarking and building my professional career at Desert Edge High School as this will be the continuance of my seventh year teaching. I graduated in 2012 from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, majoring in Secondary Education in Mathematics. As a result of my teaching experience, I am extremely passionate about my subject material and feel that I can help students transition as they assume their roles in a diverse society. I am constantly moved and dedicated to having a positive impact on the students by engaging them in an enriching and rigorous curriculum that is not only relevant to the students’ experiences but also inspires a lifelong learning process so that students take an active role in and ownership of their learning. I also hope to develop a personal, positive relationship with your student in hopes to nurture him or her to achieve their highest potential in a global society.

I look forward to a fun and rewarding semester!
