Mitchell Mangiapane, Science

  • Mitchell Mangiapane is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education - Biology.  He is a Noyce Fellowship member from the NAUTeach program.

  • Mitchell Mangiapane worked for the Hoop of Learning Program partnered with Phoenix Indian Medical Center and Gateway Community College, bringing interests in medical careers to Native American students in Phoenix.  Mitchell was a student one year in the program where he spent weeks working with biomedical engineers, dentists, dental hygienists, surgeons, histologists, and radiologists as an assistant or observer.  The following year he became a mentor in the program and guided students through the hospital and continued his rotations with the biomedical department expanding the Emergency Department and Urgent Care facilities as well as maintaining valuable dental equipment.
