District Boundaries

In preparation for the opening of Goodyear High School in August 2025, the Agua Fria Union High School District conducted a boundary study to accommodate the region’s growing student population. The study focused on three key goals: establishing Goodyear High School’s attendance zone, modifying existing high school boundaries to alleviate overcrowding, and enhancing transportation routes. These decisions were guided by data on current and future housing developments as well as accessibility to and from schools. Community input was encouraged through a public hearing notice, and final boundary changes were voted on at the Governing Board meeting on December 3, 2024.
