    On behalf of the faculty and staff at Canyon View High School, I am excited to welcome you to the Jaguar Family. We at Canyon View, are committed to our students, our communities and each other by fostering the Jaguar Way - Innovation, Diversity, Character, Community and Pride, while shaping the leaders and change makers of tomorrow. Canyon View’s mission is to prepare ALL students to be College and Career Ready through rigorous and authentic academic opportunities, signature career pathways, and a diverse menu of co-curricular programs. 

    Canyon View High School is the newest high school in the Agua Fria Union High School District, located at the foot of the beautiful White Tank Mountains, in Waddell, Arizona. Canyon View was established by the following Core Foundations:

    Innovation – Inquisitive & creative approaches to ideas and problem solving.

    Diversity – Celebrate & promote a positive & diverse school culture.

    Character – Demonstrate integrity in all actions.

    Community – Build & sustain positive, productive, & collaborative relationships.

    Pride – Facilitate a sense of accomplishment, ownership & investment in learning & success. 

    Learning experiences will focus on a “project” or “problem” based, collaborative learning model with individualized instruction provided in small learning communities. Student advanced academic programs offered include Honors, Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment. 

    The CVHS Career Pathway model provides rigorous courses in Agriculture, Coding & Computer Programming, Television and Film production, Graphic Design, Health Sciences and Marketing. 

    Canyon View’s flexible state-of-the-art design facilitates innovation and imagination for faculty, staff, and students throughout the campus. 

    Serving a diverse population, Canyon View offers special services to students with special needs and a variety of student programs, including but not limited to 17 Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity sports, co-curricular activities such as Student Government, National Honor Society, Black Student Union and Unified Sports.
