Verified Absences 

When a student is absent, it is necessary for the parent to call the school on or before the day of the absence in order to advise the school as to the reason for the absence. 

Parents/guardians must verify absences within 24 hours.  

Absences are considered unverified when:

• Parent does not authorize within 24 hours of the student’s return to school 
• An administrator has confirmed as unauthorized 
• Other than illness or family emergency 

Medical absences must have a doctor’s note submitted to the attendance office within 24 hours of the student’s return to school.

Signing Students Out of School

Parents must come into the attendance office and present a valid driver license at the time of pick-up.  Your student will then be called out of class to leave campus.

Students who have permission to leave campus during the school day MUST SIGN OUT THROUGH ATTENDANCE office before leaving.  Parent must call the attendance office from the phone we have on file to excuse a student driver.
