Electronic Devices Policy
Student cell/smart phones, smart watches, and music players are not to be visible or in use inside the classroom. Students will be expected to have these devices inside their backpacks/bags/purses and set on silent while inside the classroom. MHS is a one-to-one school with Chromebooks, and these additional student devices are a distraction that impacts instructional time. The classroom teacher will assign Overdrive if the student has the device out during class or use their Chromebook for non curricular purposes.
