1. Election Day
Election Day is November 5th, click here to find your nearest polling location. Canyon View High School will be a polling location this year.
2. District-wide Band Showcase
Come out and watch all five of our award winning Marching Bands perform at Desert Edge High School on Wednesday, November 13th at 7:00pm. Agua Fria will also be hosting an AZMBA competition on October 26th starting at 4:00pm.
3. Veterans Day (observed)
There will be no school on November 11th in honor of Veterans Day (observed).
4. District Boundary Study Meetings
In preparation for the upcoming opening of Goodyear High School in fall 2025, the district has launched a boundary study. The objective of the study is to determine the following goals and implement any changes in fall 2025. Please join us for these public meetings:
- November 12th - AFHS & DEHS
- November 14th - CVHS & VHS
- November 18th - MHS
5. Thanksgiving break
Thanksgiving break has been extended for the entire week of Thanksgiving this year. There will be no school from November 25th through November 29th.
